Ana sayfa / Technology

Valve has issued an important statement following the VAC ban warning for CS2 players who enabled AMD’s Anti-Lag+ feature. The warning was issued at the beginning of the month and warned players using AMD GPUs of the potential consequences of the Anti-Lag+ feature.

Valve says a feature perverts AMD’s engine dll functions and posed a risk to CS2 players

To address this issue, Valve has implemented a measure called “startup check for incompatible AMD graphics drivers”. Affected players can expect their bans to be lifted soon.

The update also fixes a bug in Windows 11 Auto HDR that occasionally caused smoke effects to disappear. There are also various bug fixes and gameplay improvements.

However, the players who have been banned have concerns from those who played with them before. They worry that their reputation could be damaged by associating them with cheaters. Valve has yet to respond to these concerns and has not announced a plan to compensate affected players.
